Pam was our server and she was great! Friendly and personable :) we ate the mothers day brunch, it was yummy and I love the look of the restaurant. If anything, I was hoping for more breakfast options, especially since brunch was being marketed so frequently.
Pam was friendly, prompt and accommodating to our party of 6. Made the prettiest Shirley Temples for our girl crew but checked first if we had any allergies to strawberries-very thoughtful! Thank you for the hospitality!
My friend and I are regulars here. We love this resturant. We had Alexis as our server today. She was sweet and took good care of us. We will be back again and again and again etc... :)
I recently dined at The Pickle Barrel in Waterloo, and I must say, it was a great experience! The highlight of my meal was the soup, which was absolutely delicious—rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned. Following that, I enjoyed an incredible wrap that was fresh and satisfying. A special shout-out to Andrew, the General Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of throughout my visit. His attention to detail and commitment to customer service made me feel comfortable as I was dining alone. My friends and I went here to celebrate a birthday and our server Pam was kind and accomodating of the 8 of us. She made sure that our birthday surprise went to plan and everybody was satisfied. I would come to Pickle Barrel because of how wonderful Pam was. I got the Hot Alberta Beef burger which was juicy and moist but not oily. The coleslaw side acted as a nice refresher to the burger. They have halal and kosher options; just let them know their dietary restrictions ahead of time.
The food was quite good, we had lots of the apps - honey garlic tofu was especially delicious! As well as the mac and cheese bites. The grilled cheese was a bit lacklustre but the onion soup we got with it made it worthwhile.. Our server Madi was very nice and attentive! The atmosphere was inviting.
It was our first time at The Pickle Barrel, and we had a great experience! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was delicious. Our server, Emily, was amazing, friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She really made our visit extra enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back and would absolutely recommend this place to others. It’s quickly become a new favourite for me and my family!
